A new scientific study investigating the efficacy of the electronic cigarette as a worthwhile tool in the fight against tobacco comes from Belgium. The study, conducted at the University of Leuven, shows that electronic cigarettes can reduce cravings for tobacco and the number of cigarettes smoked per day.
Electronic cigarettes: another step forward for Britain.
The Public Health England asked a group of experts to examine all the scientific evidences and results about the electronic cigarette. In the report, the experts state that ecigs can be seen as a much healthier alternative to traditional cigarette. The results show that, as a broad estimate, the electronic cigarette are 95% less harmful than tobacco smoking.
